ULASAN 2 - CRYPTOGRAPHY

Pada ulasan kali ini, saya akan membahas Cryptography

Kriptografi adalah proses enkripsi dan dekripsi pesan sehingga menghasilkan pesan yang tidak dapat dimengerti, kecuali oleh pengirim dan penerima pesan. Kriptografi banyak digunakan dalam teknologi informasi, mulai dari keamanan bank sampai membuat ransomware. Proses enkripsi dalam kriptografi bermacam-macam, mulai dari yang paling sederhana (caesar chiper) sampai yang kompleks dgn menggunakan number hasil random number generator sebagai seed nya. Random number generator ini tentu dibuat oleh manusia dengan algoritma tertentu sehingga hasilnya sebenarnya tidak betul-betul random dan membuat ini pun juga sudah sulit.

Pendapat saya tentang konten tersebut adalah mencerahkan. Saya baru tau salah satu mekanisme ransomware adalah dengan mengenkripsi file yang menjadi target si ransomware tersebut sehingga file tersebut tidak bisa dimengeri oleh user apabila dibuka. Saya juga baru tau bahwa kriptografi itu bukanlah hal yang baru karena sudah ada pada zaman yunani kuno (caesar chiper) walaupun proses enkripsinya masih sangat sederhana (hanya digeser 2-3 huruf).
